held throughout the village in aid of the Martinstown Village Hall Committee
for the provision of a new lavatory for the disabled at the village hall.
Villagers opened their gardens, there were tractor rides around local farms and village organisations arranged cream teas, raffles and other events. The weekend enabled the Village Hall Committee to proceed with building works thanks to the generosity and hard work of so many in Martinstown. Ann Matthews, Chairman of the Committee bullied and cajoled all of us to work towards an extremely successful event. The smiles tell it all.
