FONT NOTES
Broken octagonal bowl, moulded and shafted stem, perhaps 13th Century. This font was at one time relegated to the churchyard, but reinstated in 1972 when the Victorian black marble one was removed. It is interesting to speculate on the cause of the damage to this font. See also the fonts and Sixpenny Handley and Puddletown. Also in the parish of Powerstock was the chapel of St Michael's at West Milton
