FONT NOTES Osmington was originally in the hands of the abbey of Milton. This is reflected in the design of the side panels and base which is common to the fonts at Milton Abbas and Whitcombe. According to tradition, the north aisle was built for the reception of the inhabitants of Whitcombe when they had no service at their own church |
